Collaborated with team of six to complete redesign of main website, with particular focus on checkout process and website layout. User Experience Design Immersive course with over 400+ hours of classes, projects, and work with real-world clients, utilizing the design process to create novel solutions for businesses and users.

Advocate for patients, families, and physicians of the Neurology Intensive Care unit to enhance patient experience, and connection to aftercare products and services. Utilizes knowledge of human relationships to assess and resolve complex patient requests and needs. Research after care services for patients and families of diverse cultural backgrounds and customize services for each individual. Educate and train patients about interacting with complex, and/or new services. Communicate with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team about updates on estimated length of time before connection to services. Advance relationships with patients, families, and partner with outside organizations to align goals for discharge. Redesign tracking system for services provided for patients of outpatient clinic; analyze user trends, needs, and staff efficiency. Train and develop graduate students’ skills of data collection, analysis, use of human relationships, training patients and families, networking with stakeholders, and advancing company goals regarding length of stay, discharge planning, and patient experience.

Assessed needs for inpatient psychiatry patients. Formulated aftercare plans collaboratively with patients and utilized therapeutic interventions to aid patients in following up with their plans. Worked closely with interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure collaborative care. Facilitated outpatient referrals and connections to care post-discharge. Conducted family meetings with patients and their loved ones to perform education regarding aftercare resources, and information about diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Managed efficient utilization of inpatient resources and timely discharges of appropriate patients.

Coordinate patient discharge plans with interdisciplinary team on Crisis Intervention Services Unit which functions as an extension of the Psychiatric Emergency Room. Discharge planner assists with referrals to, and connections to, community resources (i.e. transitional housing programs, emergency shelters, clothing closets, soup kitchens, ID assistance, ACT teams, case managers, and other outpatient mental health services). Discharge planner helps coordinate outpatient mental health follow-up for patients who are being discharged from the Crisis Intervention Services Unit.

Performed intake assessments for adolescent clients coming to the crisis stabilization unit. Performed biopsychosocial assessments and created treatment plan for short term course of treatment while at crisis unit. Collaborated with interdisciplinary team to properly execute treatment plans in order to properly partner with the adolescents in reaching their goals towards recovery.

Coordinated treatment with Inpatient Psychiatry multi-disciplinary treatment team to address behavioral health and mental health needs of veterans. Conducted psychosocial assessments with veterans to determine resources and needs. Coordinated case management and referrals for veterans by connecting them with needed resources and services in their communities. Conducted psychoeducation with veterans about healthy coping skills, anger management, tolerance, warning signs/signals, and general mental health information related to their mental health diagnoses.

Coordinated client treatment with case managers, nurses, doctors, clients, and their families, and agency directors and provided each client specific and individualized treatment plans. Assisted Case Managers in creating, planning, executing, and evaluating client treatment plans. Assisted clients in building critical skills related to independent living, personal hygiene, communication, social interaction, gainful employment, symptom and medication management, and healthy coping skills. Facilitated client progress through peer-lead treatment groups. Advocated for social policy change related to mental health and state/local judicial systems by working along side judges, lawyers, jail staff, parole officers, and commissioners.
