In this organization as a GIS-Expert, I worked in development of 1. Analyzing geographical information by creating programs to convert GIS information from one format to another.2. Performing comprehensive flood prediction analysis using Hydrological Modeling System.4. Developing internet and mobile apps to present GIS datasets on website.5. Identifying flood vulnerable areas and flood risk assessment.6. Assessing Coastal vulnerability, Cyclone damage and storm surge events during cyclonic storms.7. Planning of evacuation and accessible routes to essential facilities during disaster events.8. Updating National Database for Emergency Management (NDEM) with support from NRSC for Andhra Pradesh for enabling disaster managers at various levels, in decision making for management of emergency situations.

I worked in department of Food, Bio-resources & Agriculture and ICT under project GEOS4S (Geoservices for Sustainability on coastal and marine resources) - A European Commission project. In this project, we use the knowledge of RS & GIS for understanding of real facets and challenges in the coastal and marine environmental sustainability issues through the modeling and monitoring of Coastal Hazards and inundation mapping, SST, Chl-a, SSC, Mangroves, Sea level changes, Coastal Urbanization from satellite imagery and drone survey and also support in developing new algorithms to conservation management and mitigate the impacts on food security, coastal and marine resource management in collaboration with RIMES (Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System).
