About Kaspar Kala

For the longest time I considered myself to be a lawyer first and a lawyer only but in truth there is a lot more to what I do.Right now, I am the Operations Manager at KOOS.io. I am responsible for anything and everything that is not marketing or product development. I am proud to work with a real kick-ass team poised to revolutionise the way start-ups reward their early allies and supporters.Doesn’t sound very lawyer-y, does it? But my current and previous work lives are still strongly rooted in the intersection of IT and Law. My academic degrees are all in this area and after graduating I worked for the Estonian government as part of the team responsible for the national and international IT policies. By now, I have led or been part of teams that have delivered many IT-analysis projects where we answer the Why’s and How’s of upcoming projects before the IT folks deal with the actual programming. Even today I still see myself as the bridge between the policy-makers and the programmers, between the lawyers and investors – it’s an awesome place to be!
