As a research assistant, I am advancing my technical knowledge and practical experience within material science, fabrication techniques, electronics and biological systems, utilizing the tools and resources DTU has available. In my joint position between DTU Compute, DTU Nanotech and DTU Bioengineering, I am working with point-of-care diagnostics and lab-on-a-chip devices. My main contributions are within 2 projects. The first is a portable reader for detecting Mastitis in milking parlor, where I have developed the reader, a LFA cartridge and IOS app to interface and control the device. The other project is a lab-on-a-chip platform used to automate and manipulate biological samples. Within this project I have fabricated an anti-bio fouling coating for improved device performance.

In this fast growing startup within precision agriculture, I have been having a interdisciplinary role. My main contribution has been improving the mechanical product design through product test iterations, utilizing 3D printing and other prototyping methods. In addition I have improved the electro-chemical sensor test procedures, in order to allow rapid batch testing in both water and soil environments. Additionally, I have taken part in calibrating, collecting and analyzing data from the sensor platform.

In this position, I have been involved in 2 projects: DTU Smart Campus & MedTech Innovation. Within this setting I have been fully responsible for the graphical content, building a website and editing 2 websites, promoting and reached out to students in relation to help iterate, test and realize their IoT-based ideas and related projects utilizing the facilities at DTU campus.
