I'm a technology enthusiast with- Good sense for rational solutions- Eagerness to pursue new knowledge- Everlasting love for science- Killer instinct for stupid bullshitor GEEK for short.From my early days I have been exposed to technology by my dad, friends an teachers I was lucky to meet along the way.Introduced to programming at the age of 11 I quickly grew interest in the field and began exploring the opportunities such skills offer.Surrounded by skilled people I always had the urge to come up with something to impress them with and by the time I was in high-school the big thing was web.I found myself investing a lot of time into fancy Flash sites with clean designs and custom functionality which eventually landed my first salary.I did a lot of freelancing while going through university so PHP and Photoshop became my best buddies.After graduation I felt like I had to step up my game and so I joined a company called Brandos-one of the leading online footwear stores in the Nordics.While working at Brandos I was again lucky to have skilled people around me. During my four years there I found myself developing a good understanding of application frameworks, relational and non-relational databases, business and data models, best industry practices for coding style and application project management.One of the most interesting areas I have been into the last years are databases and scalability. I take great pride in developing fast and reliable solutions / architectures and it also feels very rewarding to have developed something both elegant and snappy.I'm also a big fan of computer and internet security as it feels like a subject which is not addressed enough in modern times.As a person I see myself very friendly and social - someone who does not shy away from a conversation. I like to share my thoughts and opinions with people around me and am also perfectly fine with being corrected. Dialog and mutual agreement are things I value a lot.
