Musician, Producer and Programmer. Projects / Work:Currently I play and sing in my band Jack the Owl. Besides that I run a studio where I produce, record and mix local artists from the Netherlands. Currently I'm active as a Freelance Live FOH Engineer. I do the FOH mixes for the artists Fuzzy Teeth and Thames. Working at the Grote Markt for de Zwarte Ruiter.Education:I study Audio Design at the HKU to learn more in depth about the craft of recording / live audio and working with technology. It is a combination of Recording, Mixing, Mastering and VST/AU coding in C++. Background:I've been playing music since 2010. Started as a bass player in different rock bands. (The Hague Idiots, Forever Saturday & PEACH.) I gained a lot of experience in performing live in venues and radio stations. We recorded in different studios and started to do our own music and video recordings. I worked on the mixing and editing. Over the last years I've learned to play guitar, drums, keys and singing. When producing I'm able to combine the experience to help and guide the artists that I work with in the recording process. Working with Live Audio I try to work fast and communicate clear. Understanding the perspective of the artist. I gained experience from doing a 1 year internship at IJland Studio in Amsterdam. This gave me the opportunity to work with people from the industry and learn a lot about the technical parts of the recording process . Now:At this moment I'm active in 3 different bands. Styles varying from Indie, Rock, Psychedelic and Electronic music. I'm looking forward to meet a lot of musicians, producers, coders and engineers to collaborate with. I would love to learn more about different styles and techniques. I like to assist and motivate others.
