Critical Care Registered Nurse
Current-Responsible for the care of 1-2 critically ill patients including septic, COVID, head injury, ventilated patients, continuous cardiac monitoring, and critical care drips-Critical care drips include: antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, sedatives, anti-hypertensive agents, thrombolytics, anticoagulants, inotropic agents, diuretics, benzodiazepines, and insulin infusions-Assist physician in bedside procedures including tracheostomy, arterial and central line placement, ECMO line placement and intubation-Responsible for the maintenance and care of intracranial devices, arterial lines, ventilators, IV infusions, ECMO, CRRT, hypothermic therapy, cardiac assistive devices and gastric tubes
