I have an Associate degree in General Education (Mississippi Delta Community College), a Bachelors in University Studies (Child Development, Special Education and Elementary Education; Delta State University), also I have finished my Master of Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies with an emphasis in Administration (Walden University, January 8, 2021). I have 5 years of teaching experience along with experience communicating with families in the head start sector and one year as the Center Director designee at my last place of employment. I love working with people of all backgrounds and getting a chance to help families whether it’s in the classroom or outside the classroom. I feel that I would be a great fit for this position because I’m willing to go above and beyond to do my job and more to make all of the people I encounter feel safe, valued and appreciated. I love working with people. I feel that this would be a good change for me from the classroom, to broaden my skills in the early childhood education field. I strongly feel that my experience working with children, management, and the entire head start sector has helped mold me into the educator I am today. I have experience working with behavior children and children with disabilities in the head start setting. I have worked with the OWL Pre-K Curriculum and the Creative Curriculum as well. My passion is education and teaching and learning. My goal is to help others by teaching education principles and concepts to inspiring up and coming educators. While working in mental health, I gain knowledge in that particular field, along with insurance and operation management as well. I also gain knowledge in the case management of the clients as well.
