The Shapers Hubs are the World Economic Forums instrument for engaging young leaders in the ages of 20-30 with the intent of impacting their local ecosystems and the world in meaningful ways.Most notably the Regeneration project a pilot for creating employment opportunities among the distressed.In 2016 we hosted Shape Europe (www.shapeeurope2016.com), a continent wide conference of Shapers taking action on such issues as the ongoing Refuge crisis, Equality and Employment.

The Openfund is a seed and pre-seed stage funding initiative aimed at startups positioned inside the internet-mobile-services triangle. It is based in Greece, and aims to tap primarily on the dormant potential of the people in the South Eastern Europe district.Since its inception in 2008 Openfund has invested in technology in the context of a country that never had the culture of angel investments. It helped companies get off the ground and become role models for aspiring entrepreneurs and created a very recognizable portfolio (www.theopenfund.com/portfolio). In 2014 Openfund set the standard for transparency in dealing with investors by publishing its Term Sheet (www.theopenfund.com/resources) as well as various other resources necessary to any foreign investor looking to work with Greek companies.As of 2016 the Openfund partners continue to monitor the existing portfolio while exploring the creation of new venture capital funds.

Performed his military service where he worked as a software developer in a number of projects, primarily on a LAMP stack. Was involved in the setup of a networks that server >200 workstations total and set up the tools that monitor the performace of that setup. Also taught courses including introduction to Javascript, JQuery and a Virtualization (VMWare & HyperV).

Sojourner was a project meant to help organize semistructured data commonly found on internet feeds and APIs. It included automated construction of visualizations and GUIs for most of these formats, and also arbitrary XML ones.Several tech demos for it's components have been released but the end product never made it to release.It has been discontinued in light of newer developments.

Joint project for Kleemann SA and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Development of Software to automate the design of customized hydraulic elevators and export AutoCAD drawings. Worked on modelling the software, developing the queuing services and producing the official set of documentation.

Led a team to extend the Moodle asynchronous education platform towards conformance with the SCORM 2004/3rd edition standard for the Authoring Tool category. Acquired the SCORM Adopter certification on behalf of the employer.

Adaptation, configuration and deployment of the Moodle OSS asynchronous education platform. Available at www.goelearn.gr .

Development of call recognition connected to an existing incident filing software for quickly recovering support information. On behalf of the Information Technology Center of the University. Included some reverse engineering for the legacy AT&T Definity call center.
