As an HIV and Infectious Diseases Specialist with over a decade of experience, I am dedicated to advancing HIV care, public health, and medical education. Currently, I serve as the Medical Director at Nashville CARES, overseeing clinical operations, including HIV prevention, treatment, sexual health, gender-affirming care, and hepatitis C services. Nashville CARES is a nonprofit committed to ending the HIV epidemic in Middle Tennessee. It serves over 50,000 clients annually and is a key partner of the Tennessee Center for AIDS Research (CFAR).In addition to my clinical leadership, I have been heavily involved in HIV research. My research focuses on the complications of the long-term use of antiretroviral therapy and associated metabolic changes. I have served as the Primary Investigator on numerous industry-funded clinical trials and have secured independent research funding. My work seeks to improve longterm health outcomes for people living with HIV by advancing our understanding of treatmentrelated side effects.I am also passionate about medical education, having taught and mentored medical students, residents, and fellows throughout my career. I have developed and delivered numerous educational curricula in HIV care and have been an invited speaker at several local, regional, and national conferences. My work in clinical care, HIV research, and medical education is guided by a strong commitment to combating HIV through comprehensive, evidence based, patient-centric strategies.
