I assist the store manager with operations, staff management and training, scheduling, and marketing.

As shift supervisor, I assisted management with daily operations and team member training. I learned about our restaurant systems, culture, and organization in this position.

As shift supervisor, I upheld Starbucks and QASA training and health standards. I coached staff members and handled daily operations during my shifts.

I held many jobs at different branches of the YMCA. I started there as a volunteer at Camp Thunderbird in Lake Wylie, SC and moved with my family to market and start up Camp Harrison on the Herring Ridge property. I was on staff for outdoor education, US history, high ropes, water activities, arts and crafts and more. I became certified through the YMCA to teach swim lessons to all ages and did so at Wilkes Family YMCA and at Chapel Hill/Carrboro YMCA. I was also a cabin counselor, lifeguard, and high ropes leader at Camp Harrison. I had great experiences working for the YMCA and enjoy the camping atmosphere.
