I am a Senior development and data engineer that is always seeking to find work where I can fully utilize my strong customer service attitude, exceptional organizational ability, project management successes, dashboard statistical analytics, and leverage strong root cause approaches.Most recently, I am excited to be part of the Pyx Health team using my data analytics skills to help solve some of the biggest problems in healthcare – loneliness and social isolation. Working at Universal Avionics and Intuit in the past few years has shown me many ways to leverage data analytics from customer insights to lead into delighting customers. As an engineer, sometimes the customer can be only internal at a company, but when internal and external customers benefit from useful solutions, it's a bonus. I am fortunate enough in my career to be able to use amazing sets of business intelligence and data analytics tools to allow me to leverage my experiences to build value-added visualization experiences. It's even more cool to be able to apply my lean process improvement automation concepts into building solutions that have reduced highly manual efforts of Operations, Marketing, Quality, and Finance customers!In my spare time, my heart is split between Geocaching and doing Improv Comedy at the Tucson Improvement and Unscrewed theaters in Tucson, AZ. I also travel to multiple Improv Camps each year to perform with Ensemble casts to get the most moving and 'camp award winning' results! To me Improv is a way of life. Once you can blindly trust and truly give in to another human to say 'Yes And ..'. the most amazing things can happen on the stage and in real life. Geocaching is an outdoors adult scavenger hunt where people all over the world can share places and experiences that normally would not occur in life. Like Improv's 'Yes And ...', anyone can do Geocaching! I have been able to blend my Geocaching and Improv's 'Yes And ...' concepts into my core values to experience amazing results with my teammates and leadership wherever I may work. I have learned in life that it's a simple that fact that when people feel empowered and valued in their jobs, they follow, then they lead, and also bring others with them. Engaging in active listening, connecting, and high empathy is how I believe the world becomes a much better place!
