As Public Information Specialist, it was my responsibility to promote the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department every day through various efforts. A significant amount of my role involved drafting written materials such as press releases, news letters, updating website information and social media content. This position also gave me the opportunity to utilize my creative skills through producing promotional photo, video and design content. I edited these projects, (and others) in Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro. State park news/events gave me the chance to strategize and implement marketing campaigns. Additionally, I managed and applied communication projects for these efforts.

This position was heavily based around working on Fargo 3D Printing's website. My responsibilities involved effectively communicating company products, services and troubleshooting assistance. I also transferred video tutorials into written content information for the website. When I wasn't writing, I would often be designing visual content/graphics on Photoshop for written pieces. This position also gave me the opportunity to build the content I was creating on the company website through WordPress.

At North Dakota Guaranty and Title Co. I contributed to many different marketing/communication efforts. I assisted with the creation and implementation of an assortment of company events. I created flyers, invites, sent out reminders, checked on reservations and more. Along with event planning, I also had photography projects. One example is taking photographs for a local real estate management company, (and editing the content on Photoshop). I additionally drafted many written materials, such as: internal and external emails, company newsletter information and event invitations.
