I am an experienced fundraiser and journalistic writer who specializes in Middle East Studies and Peace Studies.My background in Journalism allows me to approach the Global Studies field and Development teams with an awareness of how narratives and public discourse shape history, current events, and philanthropic efforts. In the nonprofit sector, I use CRMs and social campaigns to expand my organization’s target audience, promote upcoming events, and stay in touch with our followers, donors, and partners. I am proactively growing the fundraising and relationship-building skills required of me to expand a non-profit's community. Across my undergraduate career, I stepped into numerous student leadership roles at my university. Spending significant amount of time in the Middle East as a college student increased my curiosity and passion for intercultural and inter-religious relationships, both in the United States and around the world. I graduated from Taylor University in May 2021 and I hope to eventually return to the Middle East before pursuing a graduate degree.
