Responsible for $6 million annual grant program, grantee performance measurement and reporting, external relations and management of outside legal, investment management, audit and tax resources.• Created the CME Group Foundation Early Math Education Initiative, leveraging multi-year grants to Illinois early childhood educational institutions to serve 30,000 children and their teachers, receiving national recognition.• Leveraged partnership of Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and three universities to create an Elementary Math Specialist graduate curriculum. Supported two cohorts with 90 CPS teachers and a landscape scan of statewide needs to influence policy for a state endorsement.• Initiated landscape scan of K-12 out of school time computer science opportunities for Chicago students resulting in new grants to support programs in city’s deserts.• Created CME Group Foundation Scholars program, providing 3-year renewable support for Black and LatinX students majoring in finance and computer science fields.
