I worked closely with a team of dedicated journalists to create a timely and informative one-hour newscast every morning Monday through Friday at 6 a.m. This newscast brings central Georgia all the latest updates on local, state and national news of the day. This includes updating and writing local stories, curating state and national headlines, cutting.

Worked alongside a team of students to develop and present to the WVU and Morgantown communities, the first ever TEDx event at WVU on March 2nd, 2018. The inaugural event was launched Summer 2017 with the theme "Leading with Hope in a Changing World" Our team worked hard for 9 months developing a social media following, getting sponsorships and getting.

As a Graduate student, I worked alongside other students and the team with 100 Days in Appalachia to produce creative and engaging social media content.

Throughout my time as a graduate assistant my main task was helping with WVU News, an Emmy award winning newscast completely produced by students. Throughout the 2 years in this position I have helped write, shoot, edit and produce hundreds of packages and newscasts alongside our reporters and Journalism Chair/Professor Gina Dahlia.

Graduate assistant to about 100 undergraduate journalism students. Have to help fix and distribute equipment, help with editing on Adobe Premiere and aid students with any writing, copy editing or other issues relating to their work.

During my time with UB, I was responsible for taking photos and video on a daily basis, and completely documenting students summer experience with the program through social media and the summer newsletter. The photos and end of summer video are currently being used in UB marketing/social efforts. I worked with my supervisors to develop a the newsletter.

Helped students with any software, editing, writing and technical problems they might have when working on journalism stories and projects. Worked mostly with Adobe Premiere and Audition, have some experience with other Adobe systems and FinalCut Pro.

Worked alongside the professor, helping students with editing and answering any questions they might have about writing and putting a solid package together.

While reporting for WVU News, I was responsible for producing bi-weekly news package based around state and local government topics and issues. All stories were written, shot and edited by me for our Emmy award winning newscast, WVU News.

While interning at WSAZ, I would spend every day with a reporter covering the news of the day. I learned through a hands on approach getting to shoot live shots, look-live shots, stand-ups and more. I also trained on video equipment learning new settings and different ways to approach capturing video for the daily news packages.

While working for U92 I was responsible for a weekly on air spot, at the bottom of the hour for my three-hour shift. I was also responsible for producing packages and podcasts on a monthly basis as well as hosting the weekly news and politics talk show Feedback, where we talk in depth with special guests on topics such as stress, school, relationships.
