Coordinating on behalf of FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH, the working group activities of Choose Europe, a cohort of European cities and regions working towards promoting Europe as an attractive FDI destination

Functioning under the brand name ‘Kalakosh’, offering handmade, high-quality products from India, combining traditional art with modern designs with an aim of providing Handicraft artists from India access to new markets, whilst adhering to Fairtrade principles at a B2B level.

a) Collaborating with the Chambers of Commerce, Economic Ministries and other economic promotion agencies to jointly develop outreach activities to engage businesses in India and Germany b) Providing start-up guidance and information resources to Indian and German companies/individuals desiring to establish operations in either country, vis a vis linking them to the relevant governmental/private agencies.

a) Worked in the Secretariat of the Consul-General of India, Frankfurt - directly reporting to the Consul-General of India.b) Involved Networking & liaising closely with the political & business leaders as well as the Indian diaspora in Hessen, Rheinland Pfalz, Nord-Rhein Westfalen, and Saarland. Facilitated visits& interactions with top managements of over 75 German Small & Medium Sized Enterprises to promote Indo-German bilateral trade. c) Conceptualized and organized several business, educational, cultural events and information sessions focusing on the flagship initiatives launched by the Governement of India.
