Involved in two H2020 European projects for tidal energy: TiPA and EnFAIT.

Teaching Assistant: Duties include (not limited to): facilitate a discussion section or tutorial; hold weekly office hours; grade homework, programming assignments, demonstrate laboratories in Power Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Electrical Engineering.

PhD Placement: The placement involved conducting experiments on permanent magnet and induction generators under rotor eccentricity situations to further develop the PhD research. The project involved acting as liaison between various groups within the university as well as with representatives of an electrical generator’s manufacturer to ensure the smooth running of the project.

MSc Placement: During the placement at SgurrEnergy, the opportunity was given to use SgurrTrend software developing data collection and analyzing skills. The placement was also a good opportunity to develop communication and organizational skills through working with various professionals in the field, attending meetings and playing a part in the development of projects and providing ideas and suggestions.

Teaching Assistant at the Science Faculty “Renewable Energy subjects for second and third year students”.

Under training electrical engineer in AFPC (Al Furat Petroleum Company which is cooperative with Shell Oil Company). Attended more than 15 courses in different sectors such as electrical, mechanical, oil production, chemical, and safety.

Technical engineer for electrical calculations in the IMC project (International Medical Center). IMC project provided a wealth of skills and experience that would be beneficial to future roles within the engineering field: experience of thinking to deal with inquiries and alternative ways of approaching a task, taking initiative during projects, ensuring that reports were completed on time and to a high standard, interacting successfully on a 1:1 basis with clients, dealing with their inquiries and concerns regarding the project and acting as the main point of contact during the project.
