Sampling/testing cement, coal, meal, clinker, lime, raw materials. Conduct mortar/paste testing on cement. Use computer systems ie. TIS to log/record samples/results. Ensure stock purchasing, notifications, services, repairs are conducted, competent in using SAP system for this. Ensure calibrations, maintenance and regular systematic checks done on various equipment including XRF/XRD machines, fusion machine, surface area apparatus, furnaces, drying ovens, grinding machines. Required to train staff on all aspects of the laboratory. NATA accredited and thus approve certificates to customers checking quality. Conduct internal audits throughout many aspects of the company. Also Occupational First Aider, Workplace Health and Safety Representative, Safety Committee Member, Hazardous substances and Dangerous Goods Coordinator, conducted Ergonomic Training, hold a QLD White card and Blue Card.
