I’m not afraid to color outside of the lines because I create my own. Life outside of the lines is beautiful!After losing over 100 lbs., I decided to live my life the way I want. So I picked up my crayon and went back to school for my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Although I was twice the age of my classmates and the only one with a newborn as a 3am study partner, I managed to become a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society and graduate with Latin Honors.As a new graduate entering the marketing field, my resume looks a lot different than other applicants. I have the same great marketing classroom experience as well as extensive work experience in customer service and management. Customer service and management have everything to do with marketing.• Developing an overall strategy and getting others onboard in order to execute well• Knowing and understanding your target market in order to tailor your message and offerings• Creating memorable experiences• Building lasting relationships• Utilizing graphic design• Analyzing data and making decisions based on findings• Adhering to strict budgets• Setting and achieving goals with tight deadlinesWhen I am not working as a Digital Content Lead at Sherburne County Area United Way or volunteering my marketing and fundraising skills for Girls on the Run, I am teaching my toddler that there are no rules in coloring (as long as you don’t eat the crayon).
