Primary responsibilities included: managing all finance and accounting operations, month end, budgeting and forecasting, owners’ meetings and reporting, internal and external audit, vat return, asset and liability reconciliationKey Achievements include:- Successfully led the properties’ transition from the Starwood to Marriott systems, including accounting (SAP to People Soft) and PMS (Opera upgrade)- Reviewed all financial practices and procedures and build strong awareness of Marriott policies and procedures in the hotels- Improved internal controls by increasing Le Meridien ISRA results by 22% YOY- Hiring, training and development of Finance Team – drastically increased the employee retention and satisfaction

In this role, I was responsible for managing the hotel’s day-to-day Accounting function and assisting the Multi Property DOF in providing financial leadership to the business and clear structure and direction to the Finance team.
