I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Criminal Psychology and Victimology at Portsmouth University. I have a keen interest in working with victims of crime and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in everything I do. I have a particular passion for ensuring those who are disabled or part of the LGBTQIA+ community are treated with respect and equality particularly within the criminal justice system. My undergraduate dissertation was on the topic of media portrayals of disabled filicide victims and my masters dissertation will be on the topic of media portrayals of LGBTQIA+ murder victims. In the near future I am hoping to begin a True Crime Podcast to bring awareness to underrepresented cases, particularly those with marginalised victims to highlight systemic and societal issues.
