I am frequently tasked with drafting and managing various forms of communication for clients, including email & social media. I regularly attend meetings for various social justice-related coalitions and take detailed notes. I help plan and attend rallies and lobby days and have had the chance to speak directly to several legislators on social justice issues. This past Spring, one of the clients that I worked closely with ran a signature drive and I helped manage the administrative and logistical aspects of the operation.

Worked at a pool in my neighborhood from when I was 15 to when I was 18. Started as a lifeguard (2019-2022) and was tasked with watching many people at the same time and ensuring their safety. Was later promoted to head lifeguard (2020-2022) and was placed in charge of other lifeguards on duty as well as watching the pool. In 2022 I was promoted again to pool manager, which entailed supervising lifeguards and gate staff, speaking to patrons and answering their questions, as well as doing general maintenance and cleaning around the pool. Throughout my four years of employment I worked several weeks as a camp counselor at a day camp offered by the pool and gained a lot of experience supervising and playing with children as well as coming up with fun crafts and activities for them to do. I also worked multiple shifts as a gate/snack bar attendant where I was in charge of greeting guests and checking them in as well as running the snack bar.
