Work directly with all head coaches in issuance and reconciling of athletic aid scholarships and budgets for 21 NCAA Division I sports. Issue and monitor all National Letter of Intent and financial aid contracts. Academic evaluations for all incoming prospective student-athletes. Acting liaison between coaches, student-athletes, admissions office, registrar's office and NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure timely distribution of eligibility information. Coordinate and run team meetings to provide extensive overview of NCAA, Big West and Cal Poly rules, regulations and academic requirements. Monitor all coaches and student-athletes to ensure compliance with NCAA, Big West and Cal Poly regulations. Work closely with Associate Athletic Director/SWA and Faculty Athletic Representative on investigations of potential rule violations. Research and provide interpretations of NCAA, Big West, Big Sky and Pac-12 rules to coaches, student-athletes and staff. Staff advisor to student-athlete run leadership group, Block P--help to plan community service and outreach on and off-campus as well events. Attend training both through travel (conferences, symposiums, meetings, etc.) and remote access (webinars, conference calls, etc.) for professional development.
