I had always been curious about a career in Real Estate and joined Metropolist based on shared values of collaboration, customer service and relationships. It was a fantastic opportunity and while I found the right place to be, it just was not the right career at the time for me. I am back to the event industry - creating events and making connections happen.

After the financial crisis of 2008, I returned to lead the group sales team and expand the events offerings to accommodate an ever changing economy. Adapting to the changing market, I pushed for varied formats to our existing product and more flexible requirements for exclusive use of the venue. These adjustments enabled us to broaden our client base and event portfolio, which in turn enabled the sales team to exceed goals during the recovery.

TPN is a leader in event production and technical vendor management. I was responsible for a 20% increase in new business revenue, procuring and managing the T-Mobile account. Other projects that I worked on with the ultra talented TPN team included the Seeds of Compassion 5 day summit and PSBJ Best Places to Work celebration. These guys MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I was part of the opening team for Teatro ZinZanni's Belltown location. Beginning my circus career as Action Kat aka...Group Sales Manager, I developed the sales plan, policies and promotions for all group events. Building on the foundations of an outstanding attendee experience and superior customer service, I taught the sales team to always be an internal advocate for the customer, exceed expectations, and focus on the FUN!As Director of Sales at this unique venue, we exceeded our fiscal goals for six consecutive years.

The onsite LesConcierges team managed the Microsoft Morale program. We were available to all MS executives, managers and admins to advise, procure gifts and plan morale events. As part of the program opening team, we were tasked with the development of preferred suppliers list, development of unique attendee experiences and negotiation of volume rates for our client.We may have moved on to other jobs, but I still keep in contact with many vendor friends and customers from these first years in Seattle. Forever grateful for this opportunity to meet some of Seattle's best!
