I’m a purpose driven problem solver and a compassionate environmentalist, who recently graduated with my masters of science in environmental science. In my search for a fulfilling career, I’ve aimed to continue working in biological and environmental research, cleanup, and restoration. Over the course of my education and early career, I’ve discovered that my best work is produced when I can process and share meaningful, often times visual, data that may directly impact policies that will protect the people and our ecosystem. In the past I’ve focused on freshwater issues, ecology, and law. Although these are my primary interests, I’m looking forward to exploring past freshwater systems, and exploring environmental research and protection across land and air mediums. My primary technical skills include mapping and analysis in ArcGIS Pro and data management/modeling in R. When combined, these platforms offer near endless possibilities. This is exciting because there’s always something new to explore within these tools, so I can analyze, present, and share data using classic and novel approaches. I believe my educational background in ecology would prove most useful in my most familiar region, North Appalachian or Ohio River Basin, as I have extensive knowledge of funga, flora, fauna, and ichthyfauna in my region. I hope we can connect soon, as I'm very eager to learn and build meaningful datasets and relationships with you.
