As a social media strategist at POD Marketing, I develop, execute, and optimize content strategies for a portfolio of over 160 clients to increase brand awareness and generate and retain target audience interest through targeted and engaging content. I partner with account managers, SEO specialists, email marketing/automation teams, and the marketing science department to deliver integrated strategies and cohesive digital experiences that achieve campaign and client goals while nurturing prospective customers throughout their digital journey.Additionally, I collaborate and brief various internal teams and contractors, including designers, art directors, writers, editors, and subject matter experts, to contribute towards the completion of client tasks and internal projects.

As a digital marketing intern at POD Marketing, I supported both the Organic Social Media and SEO Departments by diligently adhering to agency protocols, crafting comprehensive project briefs, scoping task work and facilitated cross-functional communication to manage deadlines and completion of client tasks.I was able to support the development and successful launch of a new product offering by actively contributing innovative ideas, conducting valuable research, product testing, and developing internal materials. Additionally, I leveraged industry-standard tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4, SEMrush to effectively execute client and internal assignments.

During my 8-month internship, I developed skills and understanding in various aspects of digital marketing. I was responsible for the execution of various marketing automation tasks, including email marketing, workflow strategy, content personalization, lead generation, and creating and updating webpages through HubSpot and Episerver CMS platforms. In addition, I built foundational knowledge and a keen interest in SEO and SEM strategies and performed industry research to determine the business applications of digital, social and content trends.Furthermore, I utilized Agile methodologies/frameworks and project management software, including Trello and Welcome, to manage the execution of campaign tasks.Throughout my term, I also gained experience executing on and strategizing marketing initiatives for D2C, B2B and internal brand.

As a marketing intern at YYC Cycle, I monitored social media channels with a combined following of 25,000+ on a daily basis to address comments, direct messages, and any inquires we received. In addition, I worked closely alongside the Head of Marketing and Design as well as the Content Development/Creative team to collaborate and support campaigns by developing visual assets for Instagram and Pinterest, assisting with photo shoots, ideating, producing and scheduling campaign content. Additionally, I also developed campaign collateral including digital and print formats.

As a sales associate at Sproutz and U-Turn, I provided customers with personalized service in a fast-paced retail environment. Throughout my time at Sproutz, I developed relationships and rapport with frequent shoppers. In the Summer of 2021, I began to contribute to the store's social media channels by creating and posting content of our new arrivals to our Instagram page to generate traffic and sales to our new e-commerce store.

During periods of summer employment, I was promoted to a managerial role in which I oversaw the store’s daily operations and utilized my problem-solving abilities to address any concerns or issues that arose in a timely manner.
