• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following areas: Abdomen, Small Parts, Vascular, Breast and Ob/Gyn• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning and imaging techniques to optimize the quality of ultrasound images and correspond findings to the physician• Review patients medical history, previous available imaging and physicians instructions; ensure there is an electronic order for the ultrasound test to be done• Perform highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination; document any deviation while following the protocol for imaging and measurements required for each study• Assist in the completion of the accreditation process of ACR• Meet current documentation standards and policies including transmission of exams to PACS• Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations• Establish positive rapport with patients and explain ultrasound examinations to them; reduce patient anxieties• Operate and help maintain cleanliness of ultrasound equipment and work area to comply with established infection control and department protocols; Clean, stock and maintain ultrasound rooms at all times

• Perform OB/GYN exams including: Fetal Viability, Dating, Nuchal Translucency, Growth, Level II Anatomical Survey, BPP, Umbilical & MCA Dopplers, Cervical and Cerclage Evaluation, Transvaginal, Multiple gestations • Assist Physician in Amniocentesis and Sonohysterograms• Participate in maintaining department AIUM accreditation • Teaching and training of new employees, residents and students• Participate in the performance and documentation of quality control, quality assurance and improvement activities; maintain appropriate logs, files and records• Generate accurate computerized ultrasound reports
