I thoroughly enjoy my work as a psychologist ! For over 20 years, I've worked in a variety of settings for both private and government organizations and gained experience in areas of trans cultural mental health, disability services, domestic violence, complex case management, mental health and aging populations to name a few. These experiences paved the way for me to commence my private practice in 2010.We are fortunate to be working with kind hearted and skilled counsellors, psychiatrists and psychologists who love their work and give their all to their patients! We offer internet and face to face consults! Our counsellors and psychologists have experiences in many types of anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma and traumatized children, adults and various addictions. We sometimes offer in home and Skype counselling and are connected to a variety of funding sources to assist people who are from low income backgrounds that can assist with gap fees.Our psychiatrists specialise in a variety of areas such as child and adolescents geriatrics, autism and attention deficit. A lot of their work involves seeing patients who are in remote areas by using video based technology.When counselling , I utilise a number of different therapeutic techniques that's centered around the specific needs of my clients. Connecting to each individual is a key factor in understanding their barriers and helping them to overcome areas in their life in which they've gotten stuck!
