In this job I have learned how to work with controversial customers and remain calm. I have learned how to manage different personalities and diversity. It has taught me different ways of training and teaching new and different material. I have learned the behind-the-scenes of how to manage a business. I learned how service businesses work. Some transferable skills are order entry, training, customer service, interpersonal skills, and organization. Time management and balance have also been a major part of daily activities. On a daily basis, I keep up with daily emails from the four showrooms. We serve as store coordinators to the sales representatives, I schedule installations and check pricing and product availability. When products do not perform well, I file manufacture claims and communicate with their claims departments.

During this job, I learned how to handle money transactions and customers. At the end of the shift, I would count my register and make sure it all matched the system. I learned how to organize a store and maintain it clean. Months later, I moved into the money services booth where I helped customers with money transfers around the world. I also helped them with paying their bills. In the office, I would keep up with the store emails and help with store inventories. I assisted the front-end managers and helped with cashiers' schedules and lunch breaks. When the store would be less busy, I would hand out tasks around the store and help other departments if needed.
