I lead multi-disciplinary teams to tackle experience challenges at the bleeding edge of technology. I currently lead AI projects at Google. My work prior to Google spans digital and physical product design and includes design systems, enterprise software, mobile apps, VUIs, innovation labs, and product strategy. I have a high bar for quality of craft but balance this with a spirited fun that unlocks team creativity.I am a passionate teacher of design to current and aspiring designers and frequently speak on the topics of design research and interaction design. I’ve served as Guest Faculty for the University of Washington’s Master of Human-Computer Interaction + Design department and lead and designed the first UX course for General Assembly in Seattle.When not designing, I moonlight as an improvisational comedian.
