Kat Diaz was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At an early age Kat expressed a natural talent in artistry. Anywhere from drawing, painting, fashion design, to creative makeup abilities. In 2012 Kat completed her 10year active duty service in the United States Navy. She then decided to pursue her long awaited passion in the artistry field. To ensure she was a well-rounded artist, Kat acquired her Cosmetology license and Esthetician license. In addition, she expanded her knowledge in makeup by completing a six-month Master Makeup certification through Makeup Designory school located in Burbank, California. Her training ranged from basic beauty makeup, avant garde, special effects, and to prosthetic applications. Her intense education that was invested towards her passion in beauty, enables her to provide the upmost professional quality and techniques in skin care treatments, makeup application, and hairdressing.Kat is freelance makeup artist, and hairstylist who’s worked on projects ranging from photo shoots, fashion shows, editorial prints, music videos, and short films. Her passion for what she loves continues to leads her to opportunities where she can continually grow as an artist and hopes to one day be working on set in television and film industry.
