I am Kate, a bilingual supply chain management enthusiast seeking a full-time position where I can leverage my strong foundation in science, supply chain management, and customer service to create meaningful, data-driven solutions, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in this dynamic field.---My Background:My journey began in the sciences, fueled by a natural curiosity for complex systems within the human body and a talent for solving challenging equations. This passion led me to pursue a degree in the sciences at the University of Ottawa. While I was captivated by the concepts, I did not feel as drawn to the lab-focused roles that most science careers offer. With most opportunities focused on laboratory work, I chose instead to seek a path where I could channel my analytical skills into a more collaborative, people-focused environment.Around this same time, the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, revealing the complexities and the critical importance of global supply chains and logistics—especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Witnessing countries coordinate on vaccine development, distribution, and storage revealed the vast networks that drive large-scale progress, sparking my interest in supply chain management and the strategic connections that make it all possible.Through an internship, I also discovered a passion for data analytics and the art of revealing trends to drive impact—a skill I found fascinating and highly complementary to supply chain strategy.
