Managing the global customer services operations for the companies which fall under the Lovell Johns Group including Maps International and Business Maps Centre as well as Lovell Johns.Since joining the company I have streamlined much of the order processing procedures cutting down processing times dramatically. I am responsible for recruitment within my department and line managing the customer service staff. I manage heavily targeted e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon where it is business critical to maintain the highest level of customer services including a response time of 24 hours 365 days per year. I’m pleased to say that our current feedback rating is 100% across Europe and USA. As well as feedback I’m also responsible for preserving the highest standard of product reviews.This role also covers the global distribution of products where I work closely with suppliers and distributors to ensure excellent service levels are achieved.

Fundraising assistant at the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Trust. Working for a small charitable trust means that my job crosses over several sections of the business. I am one of 5 members of staff who run the entire museum built by the trust. I was one of the first employees they took on whist completing a £3.5 million building project. My job title is fundraising assistant which includes identifying and assisting with the submission of grant applications. My largest success in this area was being awarded a grant from Armed Forces Community Covenant scheme of £120,000 it is the second largest grant they have ever made. I am also responsible for organising and managing events including the finance side, budgeting, marketing, promotion and public relations. I have recently organised a dinner at Blenheim Palace with Dan and Peter Snow which sold out within 3 weeks, the tickets were £100 each making over £20,000. I am the main point of contact for our donors including corporate clients as well as some celebrities and wealthy individuals. I have raised in excess of £500,000 since starting this role. This is not my only role within the museum; I have bought in much needed skills to the business including, process management, social media and website management as well as all aspects of office administration and customer services. I also train new staff and volunteers.

I was offered the job at Euronet UK limited due to my managerial skills. A multi-million pound company brokering Cisco networking hardware worldwide. I was in sole charge of the office including the sales, customer service, distribution and finance staff. I reported only to the Managing Director of the company and often managed the whole company whist he was away. I introduced KPI’s, targets and bonus schemes for the sales and distribution staff as well as designing and implementing processes to ensure the smooth running of the business. I was the only member of staff authorised to deal with any customer account queries including any product returns or customer complaints. The MD emigrated due to family commitments in 2012 and the company was closed.

During 2009 I was promoted to the newly created role of Team Leader for the Advantage Centre North. I ran a team of 6 advisors covering customer service and administration for the whole of the north UK including Scotland and Northern Ireland. I reported directly to the senior management team. I designed and implemented many processes to ensure the quality and execution of not only my team but the department as a whole. I was account manager for KCI’s two biggest accounts in the UK, Addenbrookes Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, whom I personally visited for meetings. I also headed up a project to streamline the companies archive system which was so successful I not only orchestrated it in our Oxford based head office but also our Manchester service centre. As well as external customers I had a great working relationship with our key account managers as well as service technicians and office based staff. I left KCI after nearly 8 years as I was offered the chance of a promotion at Euronet UK.
