Co-Founder And Chief Impact Officer
Current- Co-founder, and on the STREAT Board; Chair of the Board’s Research and Policy Sub-Committee,- As Chief Impact Officer, contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation, and ensuring maximum impact in line with our Theory of Change,- Responsible for establishing an internal measurement and evaluation framework, guiding research, policy and advocacy, as well as overseeing the Youth Programs team,- Responsible for running workshops and consultancy from STREAT on social impact measurement, as well as a range of topics for jobs-focussed social enterprises and employers,- Responsible for Magic, STREAT’s therapy assist dog (in-training) who works magic with our young people,- Designed and implemented STREAT’s original social support program,- Providing advice, support and capacity building to grassroots projects, community groups and non-profits working with at-risk young people, their families and communities towards prevention of violence and disaffection.– STREAT makes Kate selectively available to provide CVE subject matter expertise (SME) consultancy support to community organisations, service providers and government departments and agencies in the area of radicalisation and violent extremism and other high-risk groups, building resilience, early-intervention and supporting people to re-engage in society afterwards- Kate is also an accredited trainer of Mental Health First Aid, available through STREAT: www.streat.com.au/streatwise
