Finally achieved goal of retirement from State of FL in the Guardian ad Litem Program in the 5th Circuit. I hated to leave and missed the Program Staff and Volunteers terribly but it was time, due to personal circumstances. I am happily retired (semi) in Savannah and see my daughter's family regularly, as well as my son, who lived with me until mid 2018. My grandkids are a girl, 18 in August and two boys, 20 and 22 in October. Abby has been accepted at Georgia Southern U. (nursing); Ethan works with his father at Tybee IGA. Jake is a Savannah firefighter. Yvette (daughter) is the General Manager at a popular restaurant in the Historic District. Rob (son) works at the Artillery. All keep me company and hopping! Rob helped me initially get settled here. We moved from a lovely old house to a small duplex together, then separately to my "new" very small carriage house (1871 vintage) in the Forsyth Park area (VERY posh and beautiful historic, Victorian area). I can walk to my part-time job and really enjoy living in this part of gorgeous Savannah. At first, I selfishly spent my time doing... as little as possible. Burned out on that, had enough beach time and began my p-t job at Yvette's company's new endeavor, Artillery. What's next? Whatever comes!! I welcome visitors anytime - just must like cats.
