Schedule and coordinate the annual core workforce training for the 450 staff with a range of 55-60 different roles. Support the Principal Social Worker (PSW) identifying skills gaps and responding to identified trends and priorities with agility.Source, design, implement and facilitate inclusive and participatory training events that compliment, enhance and develop practice. Facilitate Workshops, CPD events and action learning sets.Highlight, plan and respond to legislative change ensuring that resources are up to date reflect good practice.Promote continuous professional development highlighting access to resources that enable, encourage and enthuse attendance to formal, informal and independent learning.Provide methods of evaluation so, quality and impact of training can be assessed and monitored enabling learning that will inform development opportunities used in the futureCoordinating the ASYE (Assessed and supported year in practice) program in line with the Skills for Care framework, Professional capabilities framework (PCF) ,and Key skills and knowledge (KSS). Monitoring and chairing periodic reviews to ensure a fair and robust assessment of progress and portfolio quality. Focusing on the support, experience and wellbeing of the individual. Coordinating moderation panels (internal and external) sharing findings which highlight achievements and learnings identifying any changes to the programme for consideration.Working with HEI partners, engaging with newly qualified professionals, promoting pathways into social work practice and supporting the interview process for placements.Budget management.Stakeholder engagement representing the organisation in regional, local steering groups, sub group, multi agency and partnership meetings and smaller project workCommissioning external trainers to ensuring objectives are met and that content offered promotes inclusion and are of the desired quality.
