I was responsible for the following; Staff: hiring, training, educating, scheduling, yearly TIPS Training as a TIPS certified Trainer, team building, interpersonal relations and dismissal. Entertainment; Scouting, booking, pay negotiations, scheduling, advertising, marketing, and creating special menu’s for weekly bands, DJ’s and other weekly specials. Coordinating and running events such as bike runs, private parties, promotional events and a myriad of other special events. It brought me great joy to host and employ musicians and local talents that brought music to the public. Marketing and Advertising; Creating and communicating our entertainment schedule with local radio stations and periodicals and our marketing company. Creating events on multiple social media platforms. Creating in house artwork showcasing menu’s and events.Inventory; Ordering, pricing, inventorying all products and tracking sales. Overseeing stocking, organization, use and distribution of all products. Creating all menu’s, recipes and educating the staff on the implementation, and presentation or product. Infrastructure and Maintenance; Ensuring the functioning and maintenance of all equipment. Problem solving any issues, personally fixing or hiring technicians to fix any problems I could not. Functioned in every position; Bartender, Server, Barback, Security, Certified Crowd Control Manager, Cook, Cleaner, Dishwasher, Front and Back of the house manager functions. Show less
