In this role I led a team of 30 people responsible for Brand Campaigns, Social Media, Digital Marketing and Marketing Technology, Insights and Market Intelligence, Creative Services, Employer Brand, Client Experiences and Events.

Led Brand, Marketing and Communications for “EY Insights”, a newly created structure to improve the quality and impact of research, articles and 'thought leadership' publications. I helped defined governance processes and systems for evaluating the 750+ articles being published per year, and managed change required to ensure their adoption with more than 1000 affected people. I also chaired more than 20 workshops to discuss the business cases for individual pieces of content with a view to reducing volume, increasing strategic relevance and improving quality and distinctiveness. To provide a more tailored and targeted experience of our insights for key audiences, I established The CxO Imperative Series, a series of high quality articles written and branded in a consistent way for key members of the C-suite on relevant topics with actionable insights for them. I also led the creation of a new podcast series targeting the C-suite (The Better Question), including using agency support to define format, host, topics, speakers, hosting platform as well as amplification plan.

Uncertainty, volatility and constant change are challenging the concepts that have underpinned past definitions of success in business. The EY Beacon Institute convenes debate and stimulates new thinking about what successful business should and does look like in the 21st century. As marketing leader, I lead on developing and executing the marketing strategy to support Beacon's objectives, including events, content marketing, owned, earned and paid digital promotions and account based marketing.

The CFO program's objective was to build's EY's reputation and relationships with this key target audience through marketing campaigns that demonstrated our understanding of their evolving role and demands, and offered insights to help them navigate emerging issues and opportunities. I managed a series of publications under the banner of "The DNA of the CFO", working with a research agency and panel of subject matter experts to shape the methodology, hypotheses and narrative, as well as leading the external activation and go to market plan. I also led on a series of videos advertised as part of our sponsorship of CNBC, featuring EY partners sharing insights and points of view about emerging issues for CFOs, including briefing and managing the creative agency, and managing a range of internal stakeholders.

I led the Government and Public Sector marketing function for Ernst & Young Australia, including running local go-to-market campaigns for global thought leadership, managing local EY sponsorships of key conferences and managing brand campaigns to establish EY as a major player within this sector.
