• Terrex Seismic services the mining and resources sector by conducting 2D, 3D and 4d seismic surveys to image geology from near surface shallow coal seams (30m - 1km) to deep crustal basement (50km) and everything in between. • Fly In/Fly Out position with a rotation of 6 weeks on 2 weeks off, working, on average, 13 hour days, 7 days a week. • Crews are purpose-built to meet certain terrain, land access or environmental requirements • Crews are based in remote locations enduring extreme weather conditions• The Line Crew are responsible for the placement and removal of all recording equipment on the seismic line• As a Troubleshooter I would collaborate with the management team, line boss and crew• Driving duties include driving to and from the line from camp and up and down the line during working hours using the 4 x 4 Land Cruisers. • Vehicle checks on 4 x 4 Land Cruisers are done each morning by the Line Crew• We had to be physically fit and meet the required health standards to be able to work in such remote and challenging areas
