Working with individuals to provide them with the support and tools to overcome issues that relate to; addictions, anxiety, post traumatic stress, confidence, OCD, sleeping etc. By using solution focussed therapy it combines the best of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy to identify and resolve the issues and provide the individuals with the tools in which to manage their situation and environment.I have worked with families with children with OCD, Autism, ADHD and Tourettes working with both the children and the parents/siblings. Where required providing direction for teachers and consultation with the school on how they can help by tailoring their behaviour towards the individual to get the best out of them, encourage participation and reinforce good behaviour. An analysis of behaviour patterns to look at this with the individual to see from different perspectives giving them confidence to be themselves but also to have an understanding of their impact on those around them. Use of hypnotherapy to help install a level of calm and anchors for them to use in real scenarios as well as working on relaxation techniques and ways to process daily events/emotions which will encourage positive sleeping patterns which do not necessarily occur naturally.
