An integral part of my Business/ Pricing Analyst role centers around the study of the pricing function, gathering competitive and local information, and evaluating the output requirements. One of my main business objectives is to improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications and through detailed analysis provide intrinsic value to the business. Interpretation of the data provides the basis for continuous improvement and development. A secondary but none the less important function is to maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures, provide training to the field and inside teams and to make sure that the operations team deliver operational excellence on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities: Leverage historical discounting trends and assessing competitive landscape, reach deal based price-points which provide value to both EMC and the end-user Provide an analysis on pricing patterns from both EMC sales teams and partnersBe business partner to the sale team internally and partner team externally Assist channel partners to scope, configure and price quotesEnsure compliance with published sales and business approval policiesWork with stakeholders to identify process improvement and/or sales training opportunities Develop & deliver sales enablement tools (e.g. Product & Pricing FAQ’s, Sales Approval templates, etc.)Database management, query creation, report development and maintenance

• Creates and manages contracts maintenance quotations for Global and Enterprise accounts within UK & Ireland including, but not limited to: Royal Bank of Scotland, Eircom ,and British Telecom. • Constructing contracts according to established procedures whilst ensuring defined Service Level Agreements (SLA''s) are met. • Resolves order discrepancies and contract billing issues through interface with customers, Sales, Global Revenue Operations, Finance or senior management. • Manages contracts activity for renewal, installation, upgrades and de-installation. Modifies contract information as required. • Adheres to procedures and guidelines of quote creation and ensures consistency and best practices are followed.• Assists credit department, sales and customers in the resolution of accounts receivable issues by reviewing invoice details and issues credit memos where applicable.
