I was a sales assistant for Skechers. My duties included selling athletic and casual footware in a range of styles as well as alternative products such as apparel and shoe care, Customer service, getting to know individual customers needs, stock control, achieving individual daily target, merchandising, handling cash and credit card transactions.I also represented the brand on different occasions by working at particular races and marathons that were held in Dublin.

As mentioned, I had a lot of job titles for this company. With Fun Galaxy being my first ever job I was open to different roles and wanted to learn. My role of a party host included organising children's birthday parties in the play/ activity centre. The role included having good time management and organisational skills in order for your day to run smoothly. Good communication with other staff members is vital for this job.General receptionist work -meeting and greeting customers, answering queries, dealing with complaints, booking parties, handling cash and using a credit/ laser card terminal, giving refunds, making sure the parents and children’s time in the play centre was up to their satisfaction.My barista role included making coffees, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas and hot chocolate. Cleaning the coffee machine, preparing food orders, handling cash and laser/credit cards, stock takes, placing product orders to large companies.I also worked in the toy shop located beside the play centre. My duties included organising stock, merchandising, working on the till, using the credit card/laser terminal and giving refunds/credit note exchanges, demonstrating to adults and children how particular toys and products worked.
