Managed a global remote team of senior specialists responsible for creating quality assurance programs for 5 revenue-generating disciplines which included co-project managing multiple teams to hit deliverables and timelines; and writing/distributing internal stakeholder communications and change management resources.Led internal marketing campaigns for Shopify’s Quality Assurance team that involved guiding the strategic creative direction of marketing initiatives, analyzing results, and making changes wherenecessary. I wrote scripts and guided the production of marketing and promotional videos and the graphic design that accompanied them along with content for promotional internal posts and communications.Served as a presenter at a leadership conference where I pitched the topic for approval. Spearheaded program-specific onboarding for new leads that involved conducting focus groups, and recruiting and project managing a build team. Over 5 months, I onboarded 6 new leadsalong with an additional 3 Direct to Lead hires at Shopify.Created a create monthly professional development workshop at Shopify to level up peer leadership skills, recruit and project manage an event team, and create content for and facilitate leadership workshops. I built many other workshops along with learning resources such as How to Build Goals and A Guide to Amazing Meetings. Served as a panel speaker at a leadership conference (included giving creative direction and coaching other presenters).Helped build the Junior Support Advisor program from the ground up alongside a small but mighty group of varied stakeholders. With the revolving door of this program (contract basis for 9-month intervals), I onboarded 31 direct reports over 13 months using materials I developed which became go-to resources for the Lead team. This included performance management and, where needed, delivering Enhanced Coaching Plans and Final Warnings.Created a flagship community graduation event within the Junior Support Advisor program to celebrate our program graduates. These events hosted graduates, mentors, and all levels of leadership.Pioneered a new role to elevate the impact of the Junior Support Advisor program, initiated a peerQuality Assurance calibration initiative to enhance grading skills and provide feedback to improvecoaching and quality of interactions.Moderated and project managed the 'Business Experience' program along coordinating event planning and communications, and recruiting and coaching internal subject matter experts and judging panel volunteers.

Combined tech support with people support to help empower our merchants along their entrepreneurialjourney. Due to my high merchant growth numbers and ability to connect with merchants, I was a wide representative of a business coaching initiative where I coached my peers to help them develop their merchant growth skills.

Taught yoga for 20 years and owned one of the first studios in Edmonton. Was a professional yoga therapist certified through an International Association of Yoga Therapists recognized school. Worked out of the top physiotherapy clinic for women’s health in Edmonton for 7 years. I was one of the first to educate the public about the benefits of yoga through media and at events like the Edmonton Women's Show.I also launched one of the first women’s circles in Edmonton (and later on Vancouver Island), ran retreats, offered ritual subscription boxes, hosted online programs, created a Patreon community, and wrote a weekly blog bringing seasonal wisdom into everyday living. This blog helped me increase my email list size size by 53.8% within a year with an average open rate of 34.6%.
