About Kate Condra
I recently graduated from Harvard University where I concentrated in Human Development and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy with studies in French. I am currently applying to medical school for the fall of 2024 and interested in working in women's medicine. During my gap year, I am working as a trip leader for Backroads, where I lead adults on active travel trips, primarily cycling and hiking.In college, I was involved in undergraduate research as a member of the Fishman lab. Through research, I developed a passion for tutoring and teaching others. This interests lead me to teach biological research to high school students through a nonprofit and assist teaching introductory statistics at Harvard. I was also a member of the Women's Varsity Volleyball program, were I gained valuable teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. I enjoy working alongside others to achieve a common goal and to receive feedback from teammates to continue to grow. I hope to build upon these skills by working in a field that allows me to work closely with others who share a similar passion.
