To do this, we offer separate programs including:Herzog’s Hero Canines - In this new program we accept applications from people in need of a canine capable of service work, therapy work, facility work, or companionship. Qualifying applicants include veterans, disabled, or people who’ve been through major trauma. Herzog’s Rescue Dogs - Donations received for this program will be used for food, supplements, veterinary care and training. Our ultimate goal is educating breeders on how they can minimize their footprint on the shelter community and raising awareness on how to create lasting change by getting to the root causes of dogs entering shelters.Herzog’s Hardship Fund - This fund started out as a program only for people who had a Herzog German Shepherd. Now that our nonprofit has launched this fund is available to the public.  It’s designed to help cover emergency veterinary costs for those who are having financial hardship. Upon approval funds will be paid directly to the veterinary office who will be performing the procedure.Herzog’s Conscientious Breeder Alliance - This program is dedicated to helping breeders minimize their footprint on the shelter population.
