Managing the day to day business at Castleford. I am ultimately responsible for the people and pride myself on developing the talent at Castleford. Based on data analysis, I identify gaps and skillsets in the business and don't automatically default to firing and hiring but work with the people in the business to improve their skill set and or move them into better roles in the business. Coaching and performance appraisals to facilitate ongoing recruitment, training and development of the team.I am also responsible for developing and mentoring the commercial teams to manage the client portfolio at Castleford. This includes training on setting and selling digital strategies to dispute resolution and supporting the teams with ongoing discussions with their clients.

Running the commercial side of the business. I started managing the client facing teams, focussing on Account Management and Content Strategy. This evolved over time into different teams which I grew and developed into strong independent departments. From a commercial perspective, I was ultimately responsible for the growth of our client base as well as organising and agreeing contracts with our clients. In this scope, I also built and grew the training and development at the company, teaching the teams from the ground up and developing robust training programmes that are still used today.

Managing a portfolio of 100+ clients. I spend a large amount of my time visiting clients and agreeing content strategies with them. This can be anything from agreeing how to increase traffic to the site, either via organic search or paid promotion, to helping customers generate more leads on the site, to setting up lead nurture strategies.My passion is helping my clients to find solutions to their online marketing challenges.

Running the Tax Shelter department in an Independent Financial Advisory business. During my time at Allenbridge, I spent a lot of time developing the product offering to ensure we could service the big banks with our reporting, all the way to individual customers who were trying to research their next tax shelter investment.
