I have been working in Aged Care in various roles for more than 20 years.From my early days working in the kitchen and cleaning to working as a PCA. I then gained my registration as an Enrolled nurse and worked as a Team Leader. I continued to study and achieved a Diploma in Business Management and have been successfully managing a 180 bed Aged Care Facility. • 2014 Successful full 3 year Accreditation • Built, opened, staffed and filled 60 new beds• Managed Implementation of new electronic medication management program• Managed implementing of new care roster model•Managed implementation of several new essential external contracts and it is only July.I think it's safe to safe Aged Care is more than just my passion.
