Lead the Brand Services team with responsibilities across Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta brands. The team handles all trademark, copyright, and patent filing, maintenance, and disputes, including counterfeiting and domain name disputes; all marketing legal issues such as pricing & promotions advice, sustainability marketing concerns, and claim substantiation; advises on proposed product designs; and serves as subject matter experts for partners on other legal teams.

Senior legal business partner to Old Navy brand on marketing, advertising, and intellectual property matters, including marketing clearance, promotions and pricing, and product review, as well as managing related contracts and disputes.

Counsel clients on a variety of IP and marketing issues: -Marketing and advertising initiatives, including tagline clearance, claim substantiation, and sweepstakes/contest promotions -Worldwide trademark portfolio management, including clearance, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement -Copyright prosecution and enforcement, including DMCA-related issuesDraft and negotiate complex agreements including trademark, copyright, and right of publicity licenses, personal services/sponsorship agreements, and agency agreementsLitigate trademark and copyright matters before federal courts and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board
