Overseeing Butterfly Conservation's strategic planning and reporting in collaboration with the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team and providing additional support to the CEO in developing and delivering the organisational strategy.

Member of the Senior Leadership team. Responsible for developing and leading the work of Butterfly Conservations engagement team across the UK, including outreach delivery, volunteer development and encouraging greater diversity and inclusion.

Responsible for developing strategy and overseeing operational delivery within Berkshire, a member of the senior management team. Managed six teams which together encompass the breadth of the Trusts work; Wider Countryside (including Biodiversity and Planning), West Berkshire Living Landscape, Community Engagement, Environmental Education, Nature Reserves management and the Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre. Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre - A key project managed from business plan to completion. Between 2011-2013 a derelict listed farm building was restored, it also incorporated renewable energy solutions. Additionally, an outdoor classroom was created on adjoining land, with new access and interpretation throughout. The Centre now provides opportunities for local school children and communities to experience their natural and cultural heritage first hand.More recently, overseen the development and delivery of a new joint initiative between BBOWT and West Berkshire Council (WBC) Countryside Service whereby a number of sites, including Greenham and Crookham Common, a visitor centre (Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre) and all associated staff transferred from WBC to BBOWT on 6th January 2014.Another major initiative resulted in BBOWT partnering The Crown Estate at Windsor Great Park in order to provide a range of environmental engagement activities; this location being one of Berkshires most iconic and biodiverse. In the first instance the project will run over 5 years, from September 2017, with a full-time officer on-site, running formal (primary) school sessions, family events and junior club activities.

Part of Butterfly Conservations South East Woodlands Project, seeking to invigorate woodland management specifically for the benefit of declining lepidopteran spp. Provided woodland management advice, management planning, access to grant aid, led technical workshops and specialist survey and monitoring.

Responsible for all Trust nature reserves within Berkshire (27, of which 17 SSSI), 3 full-time staff, volunteers, livestock, work planning, H&S (including responsibility for site and task risk assessments) and budgets

Delivery of practical on site habitat management on all Trust nature reserves in Berkshire (27). Habitats include Woodland (SNAW, Secondary, PAWS), Lowland heathland, Chalk Grassland, Neutral Grassland, Wet Meadows, Chalk Rivers and Eutrophic Lakes.
